Events are recounted surrounding the return of Chinese citizens to their homelands after having been relocated for a 1956 dam-building project. Topics include the attempts of the government to draw all potential wealth from the land prior to vacating it for the relocatees, including massive harvesting of timber.

The Seventh Production Team of Dachuan: an analysis of a relocated village
Article Abstract:
Living conditions in a resettled village in China are presented, contrasting the meager subsistence levels of its citizens with the wealth generated by the facilities built on the lands they vacated. Topics include the sense of despair among the villagers due to a strong nostalgia of life prior to relocation.
