Anthropometric characteristics of elite cricket fast bowlers
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to assess the anthropometrics of Australian male and female cricket fast bowlers to ascertain the relevance for player selection and latent talent and performance. The results noted the relation between body structure and performance but concluded that much scope remains for further investigation.

The relationship between bowling action classification and three-dimensional lower trunk motion in fast bowlers in cricket
Article Abstract:
The relationship between fast bowling classification and potentially injurious three-dimensional kinematics of the lower trunk during the delivery stride of fast bowling is studied. It is suggested that certain physical variations and stresses during delivery stride might cause lumbar stress injuries in fast bowlers.

Ability of test measures to predict competitive performance in elite swimmers
Article Abstract:
A study to evaluate the relationship between changes in test measures and changes in competition performance for individual elite swimmers is conducted. Findings reveal that a combination of step-test measures can predict mean and individual changes in competition performance.
