Article Abstract:
The majority of bass anglers fish the spinnerbaits shallow with a steady retrieve. In summer, when bass moves to cooler depths to ride out the heat and rarely respond to something traveling well over the heads, a 5/8- to 3/4-ounce spinnerbait, and in extreme cases large spinnerbaits designed for pike and muskies are suggested.
