Inputs on the questions of sailors who want to see rating skills that are accounted in the Performance Handicap system to draw more people and have better racing is presented. The views of several people on the board of their respective PH committees is presented and a discussion on how to evaluate skipper and crew and how often reevaluation is required is detailed.

A new boat Catalina Morgan 440 manufactured by Fountaine Pajot and Beneteau is tested for its deck saloon offering that was conceived as vacation home for some and a retirement home for others. Catalina has built more than 75,000 boats, but the Catalina Morgan 440 is its first to include that East Coast name.
