The islands of the Bahamas are in competition with south Florida and the Caribbean in attracting vacationing golfers, so many long, overdue changes are underway to attract those players. Various resorts, hotels and country clubs on Grand Bahama Island are being featured and promoted to lure the golfer.

Canada's westernmost province, British Columbia (BC), contains some of the finest public-access golf courses in North America. Around the area of Vancouver are two outstanding courses: Westwood Plateau and Morgan Creek. Both courses feature beautiful alpine scenery, typical of all BC's courses.
