Chest injuries can be serious, especially for backpackers in wilderness areas, and care should be taken in their diagnosis and treatment. Responses to various types of chest injuries, such as broken ribs, puncture wounds and impaled objects, are discussed.

There's a worm on my plate

Honeybees, worms, beetles, crickets and grasshoppers are perfectly edible. Recipes are given for basic cooked bugs, basic by broth, earthworm patty supreme, crickets and mushrooms and flat trail bread.
