Warm welcome for few tourists
Article Abstract:
The majority of visitors to Bangladesh are business travellers. Tourist facilities have yet to be developed in Bangladesh; transport and security are poor; and the cities themselves have little to offer a tourist. Dhaka boasts the only international standard accommodation and tourist facilities, and there are few attractions in the city itself. The Chittagong Hill Tracts region and the beaches of the Cox's Bazaar coast do offer potential.

South is starting to pull in tourists
Article Abstract:
Tourist authorities in India are striving to open up new parts of the country to foreign visitors, especially in the south. There is particular interest in the state of Kerala, which has very attractive beaches and vegetation. It has a long history as a trading centre, and therefore has a rich mix of cultures. The main attractions are the state capital Trivandrum and Cape Comorin, the southern-most tip of India.
