The history behind the making of the new international art landscape Marfa, located in far west Texas is discussed. The development of Marfa is mainly because of the Lynn Goode Crowley, Tim Crowley, Donald Judd, and others. How these persons developed Marfa with new constructions is also presented.

Texas lines 'em up

More museums are opening or expanding in Texas as wealthy people are leaving their collections, homes and large sums of money to the museums. The trend is explained in part by the wealth created by the oil industry and a desire by the wealthy to be surrounded by culture and art works.
