Colonial Spider
Article Abstract:
The Colonial Spider, known from four populations is considered rare because of its very limited distribution and specialized habit. A high level of lead and zinc and other factors like wind turbulence and high dust loads are expected to contribute significantly to the patchy distribution of Colonial spiders in that region.

Bugs in jugs
Article Abstract:
Pitcher plants (Nepenthes) have fluid-filled jugs acting like insect traps, which drown the insects lured to the plant's nectar. The crab spider Misumenops nepenthicola is found to take refuge in the fluid of the pitcher plant and is also known to pinch the pitcher plant's food.
