Differential properties of two gap junctional pathways made by AII amacrine cells
Article Abstract:
The retina's processing of light stimuli includes integrating rod signals into cone pathways through amacrine cells. Study of the junctional pathways made by AII/AII amacrine cell and AII amacrine cell/bipolar cell gap junctional pathways reveals the movement of neurobiotin across both the junctions. Lower movement of biotin-X cadaverine is present through AII amacrine compared to the AII/AII amacrine cell. Transmission among the rod-dominated and cone circuits is regulated by the enhanced cyclic-guanine monophosphate.

Steady-state misbinding of colour and motion
Article Abstract:
An illusion that exploits separation of the processed visual features such as colour, shape and motion, causing colour and motion to be recombined incorrectly while a stable stimulus is being viewed continuously is presented. This illusion occurs despite fully attentive and continuous viewing, avoiding the common confounds of memory, expectation and task strategy.
