Does the activity budget hypothesis explain sexual segregation in ungulates?
Article Abstract:
The activity synchronization, the animal movement rule and transient spatial distributions are investigated to learn more about sexual segregation. The changes in a population's home range allow activity budget differences to generate transient sexual segregation, which is not sensitive to the animal movement rule and is potentially an important mechanism.

Herbivore diet selection in response to simulated variation in nutrient rewards and plant secondary compounds
Article Abstract:
The herbivores study about the toxic and nutritional values of food with the help of the communication among the sensory elements of food plants along with their postingestive effects is presented. Moreover in general, the herbivores along with the other mammals prefer to have more of nutritional diet than the one, which has more of toxins.

Are social factors sufficient to explain sexual segregation in ungulates?
Article Abstract:
A key hypothesis in a sexually dimorphic ungulate, the Soay sheep, Ovis aries, using a maze design is experimentally examined. It is revealed that the preferences in aggregation patterns for animals of the same sex can contribute to the cohesion of single-sex groups and promote segregation.
