Article Abstract:

Harvesting of legume trees in the border between Organ Pipe National Monument in Arizona and Sonora, Mexico, may affect mesquite and ironwood trees in the park. The Sonoyta Valley is the southern bondary of the park and legume trees have been harvested there since 1975.
