Article Abstract:
Britain has instituted a panel of scientists and engineers for the effective disposal of Shell Oil Company's offshore oil storage facility (Brent Spar platform), presently moored off the Norwegian coast. Audit by a Norwegian certification company reveals 75 to 100 tonnes of non-toxic oil in the platform which is close to Shell's estimates of 53 tonnes.
