Intrinsic tumour suppression
Article Abstract:
A review of the nature of coupling of growth-inhibitory programmes to proliferate networks, and its implication for understanding the evolution and treatment of cancers are discussed. Although oncogenic mutations that disable such networks can produce varied effects on tumour evolution, they may leave intact latent tumour-suppressive potential that can be harnessed therapeutically.

Aneuploidy and cancer
Article Abstract:
The historical and modern efforts to explain the causes and consequences of aneuploidy, which is observed in all cancers, and its contribution to cancer and the therapeutic implications offered by these findings are discussed. A better understanding of the molecular mechanisms leading to aneuploidy promises development of cancer drugs that target this process.

Tumour tactics
Article Abstract:
Cancer is viewed as a robust system which provides insight for the development of new drugs and therapies. Robustness allows tumours to promote growth and survival in several ways.
