Letter from Gabon
Article Abstract:
Two researchers wildlife researchers in based in the Lope Reserve, Gabon, Central Africa describe their research on gorillas, chimps and mandrills. The couple lives and work at the Station d'Etudes des Gorilles et Chimpanzes where researchers have identified new species of plants, frogs and the sun-tailed guenon, a newly identified primate. Researchers based at one site for many years understand and put complex ecosystems into seasonal perspective.
