Lie probes to continue at US weapons labs
Article Abstract:
The US Department of Energy (DOE) plans to continue routine polygraph testing of scientists who have access to classified information in its nuclear-weapons laboratories. The decision has angered many of the researchers and scientists who had cited both, the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism, as reasons for continuing with the polygraphs.

Deep science strikes gold after latest site is named
Article Abstract:
The US National Science Foundation (NSF) has selected the abandoned Homestake gold mine as the preferred site for a Deep Underground Science and Engineering Laboratory. The mine will help in coming over the problem of space for the scientists to carry out their researches properly.
