Raising Hope
Article Abstract:
In Thailand, many elephants find themselves killed or harmed in search of food. Lek Chailert is a Thai woman who founded the Elephant Nature Park in 1995, and have been rescuing elephants since. One of Lek's rescued elephants is Hope, an orphan whose mother was shot while foraging through a farmer's land.
