Stirring stuff
Article Abstract:
The article discusses about the work done by Onoe and group describing a method for assembling parts just 10 micrometers across into complex, three-dimensional objects, and build up chains of interlocking rings. The research is another step towards the ultimate goal of building electrical or optical circuits, or even microscopic machines, for components at micrometer and smaller scale.

Nanowires' display of potential
Article Abstract:
The development of nanowire transistors created from organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) is reported. The nanowires with small integration densities and lower switching speeds could find use in application, which requires active-matrix displays.
