To guide the researchers, the US government has launched a National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity, which is appointed by Thompson's office. It will sponsor open research and involvement of various scientists and will suggest guidelines for scientists whose work might be used by bioterrorists.

Harvard heralds fresh take on systems biology
