A remediation team leader, whose job was to re-establish intertidal zones on human-altered and polluted shorelines, narrates about the tough time she had in convincing an obstinate occupant of a house below sea level near Georgia Strait, just before an impending storm. She feels sad that the seventy year old man got wiped out along with the entire area, only a day after he had agreed to clear the area following a lot of extortions.
