The tipping point of the iceberg
Article Abstract:
A discussion on the greenhouse effect that is taking place in the Arctic is presented. The carapace of sea ice over the Arctic Ocean, the vast ice sheet that covers Greenland and the ocean conveyor belt that starts in a small region of the Nordic seas and carries heat and salt around the world are the three inbuilt danger zones that may be called tipping points.

A world melting from the top down
Article Abstract:
Various studies and analyses are conducted to demonstrate the pace of Arctic's permafrost. In spite of the absence of a firm data-set to support the theory, the scientists suggest that it is the increase in the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, caused by humans that have led to such a change in the environment.

Frozen time
Article Abstract:
Measurements of the ratio of isotopes of oxygen in the ice and the sizes of the ice crystals, both of which vary with temperature, indicates that before 450000 years ago the climate cycles seemed flatter, with a smaller difference between the extremes of ice ages and the warmer interglacial.
