Transgenics and Vertebrate Cloning as Tools for Species Conservation
Article Abstract:
Research shows that while vertebrate cloning and super-sterile cultivars can, theoretically, pose little environmental risk, they can use up scarce conservation resources. Recommendation is to focus on established conservation methods that do not require cloning or transgenics.

Conservation Value of Non-Native Banteng in Northern Australia
Article Abstract:
Genetic research on northern Australian endangered bovid Bos javanicus indicates that animal introduction into non-native habitat, under given circumstances, may be a viable option for endangered herbivores under threat in their native habitat.
