We need a philosophy of generosity
Article Abstract:
The notion that nonhuman animals are inferior to humans must be discarded to be able to formulate a fair philosophy of animal rights. Animal rights advocates must be able to develop a watertight rational philosophical system against which claims for the protection of animals can be successfully made.

Opening the cages: freedom from fur farms

The Animal Liberation Front (ALF) has rescued over 35,000 animals from 22 North American fur farms since the group launched its battle against the fur farming industry in the middle of 1995. In January 1996, ALF activists raided Zimbal Minkery in Sheboygan, WI, resulting in the opening of 400 cages.
