Haplotype analysis of the 633-kbp retinitis pigmentosa 3 interval in 6 different canidae which confirmed the same decent for the X-linked progressive retinal atrophy 1 (XLPRA1) mutation in Siberian husky and samoyed and XLPRA2 derived from mongrel dogs is reported.

Detection of a true breeding homeotic gene mutant Pps-I with partially petaloid sepals in opium poppy (Papaver somniferum L.) and its genetic behavior

The phenotype of mutant gene Pps-1 in opium poppy and its genetic behavior through systematic reciprocal crosses with the wild type is reported. Results indicate its probable location in B function with negative control function.
