PACs: How the Money Disappears
Article Abstract:
Political Action Committees (PACs) have been known to raise large sums of money, but unfortunately very little of that money ever gets to political candidates. A good portion of the money raised by PACs is spent on direct mailing, salaries, office expense, and travel and entertainment. Legislation governing PACs is not likely due to the amounts of money Congress receives from them. Solutions to this money disappearance problem are examined.
