Quality and ISO 9000 in educational organizations
Article Abstract:
Three themes affect the successful implementation of ISO 9000 quality management systems in educational settings. Organizational sense-making affects the responsiveness of the systems to actual market ideology. Educational managerialism affects the framework for implementing the system. Discourse and behavioral consent affect staff empowerment and situation control.

The papers describes a methodology that can be used to measure an organization's productivity in the construction industry. The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) presents the five evolutionary steps to organizational maturity and allows users of the CMM to determine where on the evolutionary continuum an organization resides.
