A 30% growth
Article Abstract:
Barum Continental (BC) (Otrokovice, Czech Republic), tyre company, plans to invest 120 mil DEM in production extension in 1999. The parent concern Continental now considers three tyre makes basic, Continental mainly for expensive cars, Uniroyal for medium price levels and Barum for other cars. The Barum mark has replaced Semperit, which is now included among regional marks and offered in Austria and Switzerland. Continental manufactures Barum tyres also in other countries.
