Article Abstract:
Abortion is becoming a popular political issue in the UK after several recent scandals that have led religious leaders to decry the lack of morals in the UK. Labor Leader Tony Blair began the abortion debate by stating his religious opposition to abortion, but refusing to support a drive to make it illegal.

The Supreme Court will decide whether abortion law in Pennsylvania places undue burden on pregnant women in the case of Planned Parenthood versus Casey. The National Right to Life Committee has drafted legislation which would make illegal the use of abortion as a means of birth control.
