Coke bids farewell to the Gardens

Coca-Cola Ltd is again using its original 'Georgia green' contoured glass bottles to commemorate the last game of the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Maple Leaf Gardens on Feb 13, 1999. The bottles would feature the official '1931-1999 Maple Leaf Gardens - Memories & Dreams' logo, and would be sold in six-packs across Ontario and eastern Canada. Coca-Cola is also unveiling another six-pack memorabilia commemorating the Maple Leafs' first game at the Air Canada Center.

The Building Box goes big in Ontario

Reno-Depot Inc of Montreal, Quebec, said it will be aggressive in promoting its new home improvement chain in Ontario, called The Building Box. Sylvain Toutant, vice-president of marketing and development, said marketing will be a top priority dollar-wise. BBDO Canada will handle the multimedia campaign, which will use the tagline, 'The Revolution in Renovation.'
