AMERITECH TRUER DEN DANSKE REGERING
Article Abstract:
Ameritech, the principal owner of Tele Danmark, rejects the Danish Government's proposal to, among other things, deprive Tele Danmark of its monopoly on telephone subscriptions. If the bill is passed by the Parliament, Ameritech threatens to move strategic decision-making abroad. The American company, which owns 42% of Tele Danmark, writes that only if return on the investment is sufficient, the strategy can still be decided in Denmark and in accordance with Danish conditions. Ameritech requests that return is at least 10% per share.

DENMARK: FEW HITS FOR INSURANCE PORTAL
Article Abstract:
ForsikringsLuppen, the insurance portal launched on April 20 in Denmark, has not attracted as many visitors as was anticipated. The average number of visits a day to the site is 1,000. According to sources within the insurance business, a considerable number of these visits are made by the insurance companies themselves to acquire competitor information. Claus Tonnesen, deputy manager of Forsikring & Pension, says the number of visitors to the site is quite satisfactory.
