ANGOLA: FRENCH GROUP CHOSEN TO PRINT CURRENCY
Article Abstract:
With the contract signed in mid-January 2000, the French printing company, Francois-Charles Oberthur, won the contract to print the new Angolan currency, the Kwanza (Kz), and some of the new notes are already on the market. The French group won against competition from Thomas de la Rue (UK) and Ciccone Calcografica (Argentina).
