Asian values
Article Abstract:
Intra-Asian travel among corporate executives has become more frequent as more US companies establish subsidiaries, manufacturing facilities and partnerships in Asia. The Pacific Asia Travel Assn. in San Francisco, CA, reports that the number of US travelers who went to Asia increased by 7.6% from 1993-1994. Since Asia has become one of the highest-growth travel areas for executives and other staffers, travel agencies have become more concerned with establishing a consistent and efficient policy on intra-Asian travel.
