Western singer goes East
Article Abstract:
Country singer/songwriter Tony Lewis has become one of Switzerland's stars in country music after living seven years in his adopted homeland. It was in 1975 that Lewis got his start performing country music after auditioning in the Matterhornblick Hotel. That stint was followed by tours around the world where he honed his skills as a musician. In 1988, Lewis worked as a tour guide. But his passion for music got the better of him, so he packed his bags and returned to Switzerland in 1991, where he is now one of the mainstays of the music scene.
