Britain's many options: a single European currency

A difference of opinion exists in England over whether membership of the European Monetary Union would be beneficial. Survey results show that 50% are in favor, 30% against, and 20% undecided. Supporters of a single currency argue that exchange-rate stability would be achieved.

Tunnel revisionism
Article Abstract:
Britain and France should not allow the Eurotunnel to extend its concession to operate the tunnel from 65 years to at least 99 years. Granting an extension would mean the loss of the profits that the governments of both countries stand to inherit.
