Cross-cultural groups at work
Article Abstract:
It is common for very differing approaches to exist among the members of a multinational team within a single business organisation. This can sometimes threaten the very existence of the group. It could be argued that multinational groups must develop ways of thinking which are the opposite of those which prevail when all group members are from the same culture. Indeed, the differences between the members of a multinational group must be used as the basis for the group's shared actions.
