Deep-sea fudge
Article Abstract:
Russia is allowing a free flow of information about the operation to salvage the Kursk submarine, but there is less clarity about why the Kursk sank in 2000, with the loss of all 118 crew. The USDlr65 mil salvage operation may also deflect criticism of the government's handling of the crisis.
