Energomontaze (Liberec, Czech Republic), power equipment supplier, should enlarge the area of its production halls by 3,883 sq mt by 2000. The area is 5,289 sq mt currently. The company, which has a stock of 242 mil Kc and 546 employees, generates a turnover of about 400 mil Kc per year. The firm's production programme includes the production and assemblies of hot-water boilers including fluid boilers, the reconstruction, modernisation and repairs of power and heating boilers, the supplies of waste heat boilers and the production of high-pressure parts for synthetic fibre production equipment, among others.

The processing of plastic waste at Transform
Article Abstract:
Transform (Lazne Bohdanec, Czech Republic), plastic waste processor, processed 2,100 t of waste in 1998 compared to 1,400 t in 1997. In 1996 the firm processed 902 t of plastic waste from civil and industrial sources. The capacity of the firm's equipment is intended for waste from 360,000 inhabitants. About 35% of the firm's capacity are utilised for the processing of imported waste. Transform manufactures plastic mixture products.

Article Abstract:
Logica CR (Prague, Czech Republic), information technology supplier, will digitise Cesky rozhlas (CRO) (Prague, Czech Republic), Czech Radio, in 1999. The digitisation regards two projects worth a total of over 30 mil Kc. The realisation of one of the projects will enable CRO to transit to digital sound processing.
