Swindinavians in Scanderland
Article Abstract:
Switzerland is home to a large population of Scandinavians. Over 11,000 Scandinavians reside in the country with Swedes and Danes accounting for the bulk of the population. Many arrive in the country via multinational firms such as Lego, Nokia and Tetrapak. Switzerland's appeal is also attributed to the similarity of its landscapes and weather to those in Scandinavia, its favorable tax system and proximity to other European countries.
