How to deliver the deal
Article Abstract:
Negotiation skills are important for the success of business partnerships. Partners have to be committed to an agreement and be able and willing to change agreements. The aim of negotiations should be established and how these tie in with the company's long-term goals. A strong fallback position means there is less need for concessions and greater ability to make demands. Effective negotiators tend to ask more questions and provide less information. They talk about their feelings and use fewer but strong arguments. They also seek not to irritate the other party.
