PACKET MILK SHOWS BACTERIAL CONTENT
Article Abstract:
The Consumer Education and Research Society has tested 40 brands of widely sold milk in Gujarat and found that all were contaminated with bacteria. The presence of bacteria like E.coli in most of the tested brands and the growth of S.aurea in some pouches shows that pasteurisation has not been effective. The presence of these pathogens can lead to severe food poisoning. (khr)
