Color-coordinated lines of ergonomically-efficient appliances will be featured in novel product introductions, with manufacturers likewise emphasizing the development of diverse products and innovation.

The French market for small electrical appliances
Article Abstract:
Retail sales for small household electrical appliances in the French market are examined. Sales statistics are provided for three broad sectors: kitchen appliances, cleaning appliances and personal care appliances. Major findings are that product innovation has helped fuel steady increases in demand, that the market for small electrical appliances reached 21.6 million units in 1997, and that specialist retailers accounted for some 60.6% of sales. Company profiles of the market leaders in the French market are provided.
