Slump sparks bonanza
Article Abstract:
Advertising agencies and their clients are expected to take advantage of the devaluation of Brazil's currency. The devaluation will likely mimic the effect of the economic crisis in Asia, which launched numerous sales of local brands at very cheap prices to international companies. The buying spree would further be encouraged by calls for the relaxation of government policies on multinational ownership of media companies.

The new conquistadora
Article Abstract:
Zubi Advertising has grown to become the largest Hispanic advertising agency in eastern US with $52 million in estimated billings. The company's growth spurt is in large part due to demographic trends which saw the Hispanic community growing to 30 million, or around 11% of the US population. By 2005, Hispanics are expected to outnumber African- Americans, thereby making them the biggest minority group in the US.
