MERE JERNBANE-DRIFT I DANMARK
Article Abstract:
The Danish Minister of Transports, Sonja Mikkelsen, supports an expansion of railway traffic in Denmark. She says this expansion doesn't necessarily have to be realised through DSB, the state-owned railway company. During the past three months, the Ministry has analysed DSB's cargo operations as well as the structure of private railways in Denmark, and the Minister says this analysis shall lead to, among other things, increased competitiveness as regards pricing etc. for rail cargo traffic. In the next few months, the parties of the Danish Parliament, Folketinget, will negotiate about the future of railway traffic in Denmark.

BOREALIS TRUER MED UDENLANDSK BORSNOTERING
Article Abstract:
Once the Danish-based chemical company Borealis will be listed on the Stock Exchange, the company will not be listed in Copenhagen, provided that Denmark will retain its rejection of the Euro. CEO Svein Rennemo says the company has to have access to a broad capital base, and the Danish Krone is not so attractive. However, at present Borealis has no plans to become a quoted company, he says, and the headquarters will remain in Copenhagen. Borealis is owned by Norwegian Statoil (50%) and the Abu Dhabi-based company International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC) (50%).
