Mandela's heir
Article Abstract:
Thabo Mbeki is the successor to Nelson Mandela, as deputy president of South Africa. The African National Congress (ANC) has been successful in achieving political stability in South Africa. It has sought to improve the lives of ordinary people through the provision of housing, medical care, and food for children in danger of malnutrition. There is a commitment to reduce the budget deficit and reduce inflation, and this has helped to calm investors. There are still serious problems that need to be tackled such as crime, education, unemployment and AIDS.
