The broadcasting of the 72nd Promenade Concert revealed the variety and talent of the 20th century-born British composers. Of particular note were 'Your Rockaby,' by Mark-Anthony Turnage, a violin concert by Nicholas Maw, and a sixth symphony by Peter Maxwell Davies.
