NatWest Equity Partners (NWEP) takes advantage of the local expertise of the executives in its five European offices, in order to undertake transactions on the buyout markets in the UK and Europe. The offices are able to work together in order to manage complicated cross border deals. Some 30 deals, at a total value of more than $1.6 billion, were arranged in 1998. NWEP invested over $492 million in deals agreed in 1998. The company offers private equity funds in Ireland and Scandinavia from the London office and to the rest of Europe through offices in France, Italy, Germany and Spain.

CDC stretches into acrylics with Ineos
