Nfld ad review stirs agency anger
Article Abstract:
Bristol Communications, based in St John's, Newfoundland, raised objections in the latest move of the provincial government of Newfoundland, Canada, to hold another review for the Newfoundland and Labrador tourism business. The contract, which is worth C$1.8 million annually, was expected to be awarded to Bristol Communications at the end of October 1998. But the province said the review must be conducted because it was adding the requirement of marketing the 1,000th anniversary of the landing of Vikings in L'Anse aux Meadows on the Great Northern Peninsula.
