Sampling amid diversity
Article Abstract:
Market research services firms are advised to consider the rapidly changing cultural diversity of Canada. In the time that elapsed since the 1996 census, nearly a million immigrants have become part of the country's population. Such a population infusion has resulted in a more dynamic and diverse environment but has also brought a need for increasing sophistication in market sampling programs. Market researchers should consider such differences as cultural and dietary when implementing such programs.
