Philosophers and scientists Rene Descartes, Paul Churchland, Gilbert Ryle, Hilary Putnam, David Chalmers and Daniel Dennett have attempted to address the connection between the mind and the body. The existence of consciousness and unconsiousness is a popular scientific debate that has no clear answers.
