Article Abstract:
Wm Low has been acquired by Tesco, following a battle between the latter and J. Sainsbury. Tesco's initial offer of 225 pence per share, which valued Wm Low at 154 million pounds sterling, was shadowed by J Sainsbury's entry at 305 pence per share.
